Piazza's Path Coming to HEJ!

Hopewell Recreation and Parks has partnered with the John Randolph Foundation and Hopewell City Public Schools to construct a second Piazza's Path at Harry E. James Elementary School.  The path will provide a setting for run clubs, physical education programming, and general use by students. Hopewell Recreation and Parks has begun construction on the project, which is slated to be completed by August 1, 2020. The path is named after Cynthia Piazza, who served hundreds of Hopewell students as a wellness integrator at all three Hopewell elementary schools. Cynthia was an avid runner who completed 29 full marathons. She was integral in helping expand the Kids Fun Run of the City Point 5K. Cynthia lost her battle with cancer in 2018. The first Piazza's Path was built at Dupont Elementary School in 2019.
