The Real Estate Assessor produces the City’s Land Books which are delivered to the Circuit Court each year. One book is created for both Taxable and Exempt Real Property. A separate Exempt Book list the properties owned within the City of Hopewell by federal, state and local governments, religious organizations, charities, and historic. The Real Estate Assessor signs the Real Estate Land Book and provides a copy to the Circuit Court Clerk, Board of Equalization, and City Treasurer. VIEW LAND BOOKS
