Zumba 

Recommended for ages 13+. Zumba is a form of aerobic exercise that combines Latin and international music with exercise-      infused dance moves to give you a full body workout. This class is appropriate for beginners with little to no dance experience. 

 

Session 1: Mon & Wed, October 7-21 (No Class on 10/14)

Session 2: Mon & Wed, November 4-18 (No Class on 11/11)

Session 3: Mon & Wed, December 2-11

Session 4: Mon & Wed, January 6-15

 

7-8 p.m.  Hopewell Community Center.

$20 members. $25 nonmembers.

Registration closes one week prior to start date of each session.

Cardio Kickboxing

Recommended for ages 14+. Burn calories and reduce stress with 45 minutes of cardio kickboxing. This class will have four focus areas: total body, dynamite abs, muscle fitness/legs, butt and thighs. Appropriate for all skill levels.

Body Sculpting (Lower Body & Core) 

For ages 18+. Feel stronger with this muscle-toning class focused on building the lower body and core strength through a variety of exercises.  Workouts will target the glutes, hips, thighs, abs, and back muscles. All fitness levels are welcome!

FITNESS WARRIORS

The Sports Backers’ Fitness Warriors program trains area residents who have talent, passion, and potential to be professional fitness instructors for Richmond’s communities with the highest rates of chronic disease. Whether you're looking for a fun way to get moving or need a supportive group to keep you motivated, we offer FREE fitness classes for every level of fitness!

 

Cardio with Carla

Recommended for ages 12+. This class will combine a variety of cardio-based activities with

yoga, Pilates, and dance to get you up and off the couch and keep you coming back!

 

Wednesdays, 6-6:50 p.m.

Free. HCC membership not required.

 

FIT by Benns

Recommended for ages 14+.  This class will provide an overall body workout in a boot

camp atmosphere with plyometrics, core work, and strength training. Tighten up those soft

areas and stay healthy with this high-energy class!

 

Thursdays, 7-7:50 p.m.
