The marina has a four-lane boat ramp with floating docks, convenience store, pump-out station, large paved parking lot, open and covered slip rentals, kayak launch, fishing area, and public restrooms. The Hopewell City Marina offers both covered and open slips for monthly rental. All slips have electric meter connection, water supply, and secure entrance. For additional information and availability, please contact Fish Tales II.
Slips can accommodate boats over 30 feet in length and offer depths from 6-15 feet (tidal waters)
Kayaking and Fishing
The accessible kayak launch at the Hopewell City Marina allows boaters of all ability levels the opportunity to enjoy the water. A designated fishing area is also available at the marina with a small fishing pier and parking area. Please note that fishing is prohibited in the vicinity of the boat ramp, rental slips, and main dock. Please only fish in designated areas. A valid Virginia freshwater fishing license is required for any person fishing on the Appomattox River that is over the age of 16. Kayakers should wear a life jacket at all times.
