First Aid/CPR/AED Lifesaving Classes
For ages 16+. The American Red Cross Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies, and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. All training materials will be provided. The class will break for lunch on your own around noon. Hopewell Recreation and Parks does not require face coverings for indoor programs. Please consider the CDC guidance listed below.
Who should wear a face covering?
• Participants, including children older than 2, who are not fully vaccinated
• Participants who are fully vaccinated with a weakened immune system
• Participants who are fully vaccinated while attending indoor functions in areas of high or substantial transmission
